Your mind and your immune system
What we think really does affect us physically. If you are thinking “I always get a cold in winter”; it is likely that if you come into contact with a germ, bug or other nasty that you will pick it up. If on the other hand you think “I’m well, healthy and fit” it may be that you still pick it up, but it is over quickly or very mild.
It doesn’t need to be all positive affirmations, meditation and mindfulness, although these will help I know they are not for everyone. Some simple ways to get your mind on side to boost your immune system are:
Laughing
Smiling
Listening to music
Breathing properly
Yoga
Visualisations
